Get 7 to 9 hours of good sleep every night, and your body will take care of the rest. On rest days, let your body take time in return by keeping off your muscles. You can help your muscles recover Invariably through easy stretches, foam rolling, or just a leisurely walk. Now, here's the secret sauce: progressive overload; this means a challenge to your muscles over time. You want to gradually bump up that intensity—through more weights or reps, or another way of making it harder. That's what is going to forcefully make your muscles adjust to the demand and grow in strength. It's like leveling up on a video game—each new challenge prepares you for the next one. Remember, everybody's body is different. Genetics will also play a role in how much and how fast you can gain muscle. Some guys might see results a little faster than others, and that is totally cool. The bottom line here is consistency and patience.
